Qstap is software for speed trial analysis & reporting.

QSTAP is software developed within STA-JIP and since then controlled by STA-Group. STA-Group consists of more than 25 organisations such as ship owners, ship operators, ship yards, class and R andD institutes.

QSTAP can be applied to the results of speed trial measurements complying with the Recommended Practice of the Sea Trial Analysis joint industry project (STA-JIP).

The program provides the analysis including the corrections for displacement, water depth, current, wind and waves. After corrections for the encountered conditions, speed-power for the reference conditions is derived.

QSTAP runs on PC under Windows and can be used on board to deliver the speed trial report immediately after completion of the trials.

Through the webshop you purchase a project version which is valid for two weeks. Furthermore we are working hard on a Windows 7 version, this version works ok on Windows XP. If you want to purchase a permanent license you should become member of the Sea Trial Analysis joint industry project (STA-JIP).
