LPCXpresso IDE Status

LPCXpresso IDE (http://www.nxp.com/lpcxpresso) is no longer being actively developed. MCUXpresso IDE has now replaced LPCXpresso IDE as the recommended software development toolchain for NXP's Cortex-M based LPC microcontrollers. Generally, most existing LPCXpresso IDE projects can be imported straight into MCUXpresso IDE. For more details of MCUXpresso IDE, please visit http://www.nxp.com/mcuxpresso/ide

LPCXpresso IDE Pro Edition

If you are already using LPCXpresso IDE Pro Edition for an existing project, and require more seats, then it is still possible to purchase new Pro Edition seats. However we no longer recommend the use of LPCXpresso IDE for new projects, either in Free Edition form or the paid-for Pro Edition.

Transitioning to MCUXpresso IDE

An LPCXpresso IDE Pro Edition license will also activate MCUXpresso IDE v10.1.1 and earlier in a "Pro Edition" mode (enabling some additional trace related functionality). However, later versions of MCUXpresso IDE (v10.2 and later) no longer make use of a Pro Edition license to enable any additional functionality - all product functionality is enabled without any additional purchase or activation.
