Eccentricity can be looked upon as irrational and insane by some who find it hard to understand the intentions and provocations behind certain beliefs and actions. A tree branches out in so many different directions but retains its perfection of form. The two ideas together seems to signify an acceptance of different and disagreeable viewpoints.
