Freedom, enlightenment, union with the beloved - the rare state of completion and fulfilment we associate with spiritual masters may appear mysterious and remote. We need to witness it in action. And if we are to act on what we see, we need the master to give us a convincing account of the enlightened state, of our own potential and where we may be falling short.
